Each class will have it’s own specific focus on that day. As a rule though, it will look like as follows. Classes always begin with a mobility focus. We then FLOW. This means utilising whole body movement patterns over a period of time. These flows are designed to strengthen, to lean up and to improve movement. It’s then GO time! High intensity, sweaty intervals to burn fat and improve overall fitness.
Once we’ve done all of that, we bring the tempo right down and RESTORE the mind and body through mobility, stretching and breath work.
The idea that anyone can arrive at a gym, be warmed up in a matter of minutes, be doing burpees the next, and then walk back out the door until the next time is simply not sustainable. We want it to change. We are the change.
At Mojo Movement, movement matters. Our aim is to create strong, sustainable athletes. Yes we love hard work and yes we’ll expect it! But our methods are designed to improve all aspects of fitness and wellbeing. This means respecting movement. This means prioritising quality. This means restoring post workout. And perhaps most important of all - this means having fun.
“I strive for constant personal growth in all areas of my life. I know we are capable of amazing things. Specifically our bodies. We are capable of, and designed to do more. To move better and to function more effectively. I believe it because I’ve seen it.
I am a firm believer in community. I love the thought that if you surround yourself with brilliant people then brilliant things can happen. It is my aim to create that environment and that community within Mojo, and I want as many people as possible to be a part of it - so come and join the movement!”
